These need no description – it’s as the name suggests – milky bar chocolate spread over bar biscuits!
For those of you that know me you would understand the love for these yummy coconut chocolaty biscuits – my mum use to make them all the time and are my eldest brothers favourite biscuits to this day!
1/2 cup castor sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 1/4 cups coconut
1/4 cup oil
1 tsp vanilla essence
flour to make a soft dough
Grease your tray/baking sheet. Preheat oven. Cream butter and sugar. Add oil, vanilla and coconut. Then add baking powder and flour. Press dough into tray and bake. Once baked it should be a light golden color. It might feel soft to the touch when it is done but it will crisp up a little when cool. As soon as you remove the tray from the oven spread your chocolate over. You may grate your chocolate over or melt the chocolate and spread over. I usually slice my biscuits first and then spread white chocolate over. Once the chocolate has set I put my knife through again so when the biscuits are removed from the tray it gives a much neater appearance. If you spread white chocolate over you can drizzle brown chocolate to make it look for fancy. Sprinkle with whatever you like (sprinkles, nuts, etc).
