Pepper sauce


This is the perfect match for savouries. A dip with a perfect balance of sweetness and heat. You can add more chilli to make it fire in your mouth but I prefer a subtle undertone of chilli without the heat especially for this sauce.

Everyone who has tasted this sauce falls in love with it on first bite.

Easy, simple to put together and a taste that will leave everyone wanting more.

5 large red peppers
5 dried red chillies
1tsp crushed garlic
1 tblsp mustard powder
3 tblsp methi masala
5 tblsp maizena
2 cups lemon juice
2 cups vinegar
1 cup sugar
Salt to taste
3 tblsp Oil

Wash, dry and clean peppers. Chop into chunks and add the rest of the ingredients except the oil into a blender. When mixture is smooth, heat the oil in a pot and add the pepper mixture. Boil until thick stirring so it does not get burnt or lumpy. Leave to cool completely and bottle. Keep refrigerated.
