Pur (samoosa pastry) Snack

I had made my own samoosa pastry (pur) and I usually keep the off cuts because it is enjoyed in my home as a snack.

A crispy and crunchy snack with just enough flavour to take the pur to another level.

You will need:

1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1/2 teaspoon black mustard seeds
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
5-6 curry leaves
1 tablespoon oil
Pur

Fry strips of pur, drain and leave aside.

In a small pan, heat oil and add the rest of the ingredients. When it starts to splatter, it is ready to be added over the pur.

Leave on paper towels to drain any excess oil. Sprinkle with salt and chilli powder or no salt and Mochachos spice (it contains salt).

Store in an airtight container.

Note:
– Enjoy fried pur as is or season it.
– Fry pur in medium hot oil, turning during frying to get it even coloured.
